Dilan was something of an enigma when he first started at GRIM Studios in Hamilton, Ontario. It took a while for him to fully open up, but once he did, it became very clear why he fits so well here. He’s warm, charming, quietly funny, extremely talented, arguably mentally ill and completely unhinged — the kind of person who doesn’t say much at first and then absolutely wins everyone over.

For a long time, these were the confirmed facts: he loves his girlfriend, the gym, and golf. His dad is a twin. He has sibling(s). He used to like double doubles. He dropped out of university to tattoo. Over time, we also learned he’s into hip hop, can moonwalk shockingly well, and is one of those deeply annoying people who seems to be good at everything immediately.

Dilan has been tattooing for over five years and is entirely self-taught. He specializes in portraits and black and grey realism, bringing a strong technical eye and a lot of ambition to every project. He’s deeply invested in improving his craft, takes pride in working closely with clients, and is always pushing himself to be better than he was yesterday.

Dilan is a huge asset to both the studio and the GRIM family, and we’re only a little bitter about how effortlessly talented he is.
