Ashley is one of the studio managers and lead piercers at GRIM in Hamilton, Ontario, which means she’s one of the main reasons the shop runs smoothly, the artists stay organized, and nothing fully collapses into absolute chaos.

​

She manages the day-to-day operations of the studio, keeps the space clean and functional, and makes sure everything behind the scenes is handled properly — because tattoo shops, tragically, do not run on vibes alone.

​

Ashley is a lead piercer known for being fast, calm, and exceptionally good at making nervous clients feel safe and comfortable. She’s especially trusted by first-timers and anyone who needs a steady presence, clear explanations, and aftercare instructions that actually make sense. Her approach is efficient, professional, and as painless as possible, with a strong focus on proper healing and long-term results.

Ashley is also the person who will absolutely make sure you leave knowing exactly how to care for your piercing — no guessing, no frantic Googling, no late-night panic texts asking if something is infected.

Outside the studio, Ashley somehow manages to be just as organized. She spends her time with her partner, their kids, their cats, and her family. She is, unfortunately for the rest of us, that mom — the kind of super-mom the rest of us (jokingly) resent for making us look bad. (maybe thats just Memphis, who's allowed to say that, cause she's talking about herself in third person right now)

At one point, she threw her son a completely custom Baby Shark birthday party, including hand-painted decorations, a custom cake, matching outfits, and Baby Shark playing on repeat. Some of us are still emotionally recovering from it. She can’t be stopped.
